Great joy is found in a lover’s embrace, yet for centuries our Western culture condemned physical pleasure via religion, laws and culture. We should desire a deep understanding of our sexual selves, our sexual needs and our sexual character. We should endeavor to be comfortable with our bodies, wishes, desires, taboos and sexual ideals. When we seek sexual knowledge, we enhance our happiness, satisfaction and passionate surrender. Our goals should include sexual health, a comfortable familiarity with our sexuality and an ease of communication with our lover. These are unique and sought after qualities in healthy relationships.
